The vision for Storyeum was to create an inspiring, lively and educational experience that would broaden understanding of Canada's West Coast history. It has been designed for people of all ages and cultural backgrounds who either live in British Columbia or visit from around the world. Rain or shine, storytellers and performers at Vancouver's newest "must-see" attraction will offer a vivid, memorable picture of Western Canada, its people and legends.

In addition to cultural and educational benefits, Storyeum will provide economic stimulus positions and maintains Gastown as a world-class Canadian heritage showcase.
